In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing business from the SMERF market. Sales Manager ResponsibilitiesLead daily activities for self and plan, organize, and develop strategies and goals
Oversee hotel performance in group and leisure segments
Capture new accounts and maintain existing one
Coordinate activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share
Handle business travel RFPs and requests for individuals or groups
Align with company Sales & Marketing teams to maximize brand benefits and relationships
Sales Manager QualificationsHigh School Diploma (University degree in related field preferred)
3-5 years of experience in a Hotel Sales leadership position
Ability to handle multiple tasks with strict deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required, along with savvy online & social media skills.
Must Have: Specific background within the Hospitality Industry and proficiency with Opera PMS
Ability to travel for workshops, trade shows, brand meetings, etc.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
