Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase leisure business, targeting individual travelers, small groups, and key partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, and influencers.
  • Identify and establish key relationships with travel partners, OTAs, and tourism organizations to drive bookings and maximize revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, F&B, and event teams to align sales initiatives with the hotel's brand and programming.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and trade shows to expand its presence in the leisure travel market.
  • Leverage partnerships within the arts, culture, and entertainment industries to enhance the hotel's appeal as a sought-after destination.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in hotel sales, tourism, or hospitality business development, with a strong focus on leisure markets.
  • A passion for culture, hospitality, and guest experiences, aligning with the hotel's unique brand.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry players, including travel agencies, DMCs, and tourism boards.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Knowledge of the Toronto hospitality and tourism market is an asset.
