Pacific Honda is currently looking to fill a position of a Sales Manager.

We have an opportunity for an experienced, result driven, automotive professional to join our management team. We are seeking someone who has a successful background in pre-owned, who is enthusiastic and persuasive; who performs well in a structured environment and follows direction; who is helpful and positive toward assisting others; who ensures reports also follow process; who provides first rate customer experiences; who brings management experience in automotive sales and financial services; who has a strong understanding of the pre-owned market.

About the Opportunity

The Sales Manager will provide a high level of leadership while coaching, supporting and encouraging sales staff to achieve results. You will monitor customers, manage and direct sales staff in an effort to achieve volume and gross targets. You will promote a culture that is positive and high performing. You will also have a focus on maintaining a robust used vehicle inventory.

Responsibilities include:

\xc2\xb7 Producing revenue for the dealership through sales of new and used vehicles and associated offerings

\xc2\xb7 Sourcing and acquiring used vehicles and ensuring the used inventory is reconditioned and maintained at a high standard

\xc2\xb7 Valuing/appraising prospective trade-in and buy-in vehicles

\xc2\xb7 Supporting Product Advisors by reviewing worksheets, negotiating/closing sales transactions and assisting them with customer interactions

\xc2\xb7 Building rapport with clients and conducting business in a positive customer- centric manner

\xc2\xb7 Understanding customer needs and qualifying them based on their individual requirements

\xc2\xb7 Guiding and coaching Product Advisors while providing mentoring and assistance to ensure they fully complete their daily activities and follow-up tasks

\xc2\xb7 Perform daily one on ones with salespeople to monitor activities and assist with customers

\xc2\xb7 Utilizing CRM tools for prospecting and follow-up, plus traffic management software to ensure business is conducted in accordance with dealership procedures

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring high CSI and delivery standards are conducted to achieve & surpass manufacturer guidelines

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring all paperwork is accurate, completed in a timely manner and processed as required

\xc2\xb7 Completing required training and job knowledge within allotted times; attend seminars to keep up to date with current programs

\xc2\xb7 Following all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures and abiding by governmental & VSA licensing rules.

\xc2\xb7 Performing other duties as required.

Applicants must have:

\xc2\xb7 Have managerial experience operating a dealership sales department

\xc2\xb7 A minimum of 3 years automotive sales experience

\xc2\xb7 A proven ability to train, motivate and manage a car sales team

\xc2\xb7 Be a dynamic self-starter, detail focused, extremely well organized with excellent multitasking skills

\xc2\xb7 A strong desire and ability to out perform goals and objectives

\xc2\xb7 A personable, courteous & outgoing nature along with strong work ethic

\xc2\xb7 Exceptional customer service and satisfaction characteristics

\xc2\xb7 An intrinsic knowledge of automotive CRM & DMS systems

\xc2\xb7 Very good computer and typing skills

\xc2\xb7 A solid command of the English language and strong communication skill - a second language beneficial

\xc2\xb7 Be MDC / VSA (Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia) licensed
