About Us:

Nova Countertop is a trusted manufacturer of premium countertops with locations in Dartmouth, Stellarton, and Amherst. We specialize in Corian, Corian Quartz, and Laminate surfaces, offering end-to-end service from fabrication to installation. Our Amherst location serves as a local showroom and laminate production site, providing custom solutions to homeowners, builders, and designers.

Position Overview:

We are hiring a Sales Manager to lead our Amherst location's customer-facing operations. This role combines hands-on sales, customer service, and showroom leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior finishes, residential construction, or home improvement retail.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all sales inquiries for laminate, solid surface, stone countertops

Build and maintain relationships with residential clients, contractors, and designers

Provide estimates, close deals, and manage follow-up communication

Ensure a welcoming, informative showroom experience

Assist customers in selecting materials, finishes, and edge profiles

Maintain showroom cleanliness and display accuracy

Gather and interpret project information (drawings, measurements, specs)

Prepare accurate quotes and work orders

Coordinate with the production team and Dartmouth HQ for project scheduling and material flow

Promote Nova Countertop within the Amherst community

Build relationships with local builders, kitchen dealers, and renovation professionals

Qualifications:

Experience in sales or customer service in construction, renovation, or home products

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to interpret technical drawings or specs (e.g., floorplans, cabinet layouts)

Comfortable with quoting tools and order management systems

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Experience with countertops, kitchens, cabinetry, or interiors is an asset
