The Sales Executive will
focus on growing
our managed services client base. This role is ideal for a

, and guiding prospects through a
consultative buying process
. You'll represent Tier 3 I.T. Solutions at networking events, trade shows, and live marketing activities while leveraging outbound strategies like calls, email, and social media to generate new opportunities.
We have a very specific go to market strategy that involves
building high quality relationships
with our ideal clients and referral partners, the Business Development team is responsible for managing and executing on that strategy. While many of our competitors rely on making countless cold calls, we prefer to focus on building relationships with key strategic contacts within our target market. Therefore, the successful candidate(s) will be someone who enjoys people, who are great conversationalists, who look for ways to serve and help others, and who recognize the power of quality over quantity.
The Sales Executive will use their interpersonal skills to
establish relationships with new businesses
who may be interested in the services offered by Tier 3 I.T. Solutions and will work through the sales process to close. Our ideal clients are small to medium businesses that
value technology and recognize that having a truly proactive IT team is a competitive advantage.
They are
willing to make the appropriate investments in their technology platforms
and appreciate that we are working on their behalf every day to make their technology experience better.
This is a hybrid role, working from our office, from home, and also in person at client sites
. The hours are moderately flexible, but a full time commitment is expected.
Sales Executives receive base pay plus performance based compensation with no limit on earnings potential.
Primary functions of the Sales Executives:
Work every day to grow the business
Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers and key referral partners
Develop and maintain a connection cadence to build positive engagement with prospects and partners
Work to grow a database of potential clients
Unique Touchpoints to stay abreast of changes in the clients' business and experience with the Tier 3 IT team
Frequent check-ins with prospects and clients to evaluate current and future opportunities
Qualifications, Experience, and Other Factors to Consider
The successful candidate will:
Have a
proven track record of success
in B2B technology sales, ideally managed IT services.
Skillfully build and maintain relationships with a diverse client base.
Be comfortable meeting with business owners and executives and will present a
professional image
of themselves and the company.
Enjoy the challenge of translating technical status information into
business focused objectives and solutions
to problems our clients face.
Be able to clearly articulate complex information using
easily understood
language, analogies, and examples.
Have a broad base of professional experiences that helps them
relate to business owners
as a valued consultant.
Be an
expert communicator
who successfully connects with a variety of personalities within the client base.
Enjoy coordinating various activities to positive outcomes for the involved parties, both internal and external.
Think and act strategically,
aligning clients to achieve their long-term technological objectives so that they can improve their business performance and lower risk over time. All while balancing the short term needs and demands of supporting those clients.
