THE OPPORTUNITY:
We have a rare opening in Collingwood for a
Media Sales Account Executive
. The ideal candidate will be a confident salesperson responsible for developing and maintaining direct advertising client relationships to sell integrated radio sales proposals. This role primarily focuses on local sales for
MAX FM in Collingwood
.
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and maintain direct client contacts, providing exceptional customer service through proactive relationship management.
Present and sell business solutions leveraging local radio to new and existing accounts.
"Super serve" all accounts with integrity and professionalism, helping clients achieve results and grow their business.
Achieve and surpass monthly sales targets, collaborating internally with our other radio stations to succeed and deliver value for clients.
Demonstrate strong organization, time management, multi-tasking, and effective communication skills.
Work effectively with sales support teams, including Sales Assistants, Production, Promotions, Programming, Traffic, Creative, and Digital.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in media, advertising, or related fields.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, including cold calling and prospecting.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple accounts.
Basic understanding of radio broadcasting, media advertising, and digital marketing is a plus.
Valid driver's license, clean driving abstract, and dependable vehicle.
A motivated, results-oriented mindset with high energy and enthusiasm.
