Job Summary:

Valley Granite Products is a stone fabrication shop seeking a

full-time Estimator

to join our team. This role involves reviewing cabinet and client drawings, preparing accurate quotes, and ensuring proposals are sent out in a timely manner. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Our core manufacturing revolves around stone countertop production. The company values quality over quantity, and as such we prioritize employee comfort, job organization, and shop procedures to ensure smooth, efficient operations that deliver top results for our clients.

Essential Functions:

Review architectural, cabinet, and client drawings with accuracy and attention to detail. Prepare clear and competitive estimates/quotes for stone countertop projects. Communicate and send proposals to clients in a professional manner. Collaborate with project managers and shop staff to ensure accuracy and feasibility of estimates. Maintain organized records of quotes and project details.

Requirements:

Experience in reviewing and interpreting architectural or cabinet drawings (required). Previous estimating experience in construction, cabinetry, or stone fabrication (preferred). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good organizational skills and professional communication with clients. Valid work visa/SIN number to legally work in Canada.

Compensation:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level. Competitive benefits including paid vacation, health insurance, and dental/vision coverage.
