DMC Recruitment Group is working with a leading building materials supplier to hire a Sales Representative for the east coast of Canada. This is a leading company with an already well-established territory with opportunity for more business development growth.

Our client: Our client is an established manufacturer supplying the construction and renovation industries across North America. They have unique products they sell to a variety of channels. They have well developed clients and strong relationships with those clients. They have strong leadership, a well established business and are growing.

The role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clients and building new relationships across New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. This job requires a strong sales rep who is a hunter who can be committed to travel including overnights. The candidate will be responsible for pulling demand through their regional distributors. They will work directly with architects, designers and contractors to drive sales for the distribution partner. This role will also be accountable for educating and training distribution sales representatives on the products to help drive sales in the region.

The candidate:
Although building materials experience would be a benefit, it is not required to be successful in this role. If you are looking for a true sales role with lots of travel, there is training, and mentoring provided to ensure your success. The candidate must be able to work independently, be very well organized and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with their clients.
