Type of Work:
Hybrid - This role is a mix of working from home doing follow-ups, coming into the downtown Calgary office once a week, and meeting in-person with potential clients at steel fabrication facilities across Alberta, BC & Saskatchewan (must be okay with driving that far and have a car).
Location:
Calgary based - territory will start in Alberta, eventually including British Columbia and Saskatchewan as well.

About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll represent our detailing and drafting services to steel fabricators, engineering firms, and project leaders across Western Canada. You'll uncover client needs, tailor solutions, and close deals--playing a critical role in expanding our market share. This is a base + commission role with performance incentives and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with structural steel fabricators, engineering firms, and construction project managers
Build long-term client relationships through on-site visits, active listening, and consistent follow-up
Promote Prozteel's services at industry events, tradeshows, and networking functions
Customize solutions based on project scope, client priorities, and technical requirements
Maintain regular communication with Houston head office to align strategy and share insights
Track and manage leads, contacts, and pipeline activity using CRM tools
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in B2B sales--ideal if related to industrial sectors or engineering
Proven ability to work independently, manage a territory, and close deals with minimal oversight
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively by road
Professional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
