We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Sales Coordinator
to support our freight forwarding sales team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient coordination of sales activities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting day-to-day operations. This role requires strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and a desire to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the freight forwarding sales team with scheduling meetings, managing client appointments, and coordinating travel plans.
Prepare and maintain sales-related documentation such as rate sheets, quotations, shipment tracking updates, and presentations.
Act as a liaison with clients to provide shipment updates, resolve service issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Organize and support internal and external sales meetings, including preparing agendas, coordinating logistics, and tracking follow-up actions.
Help develop and distribute marketing materials and sales proposals tailored to clients in the logistics and supply chain sector.
Maintain and update the customer database, tracking leads, opportunities, and communications.
Collaborate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments and account support.
Requirements
Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client-facing settings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools; knowledge of freight/logistics software is a plus.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
