Job Summary

The vision and purpose of the Sales Consultant position is to: * Develop new business, by leveraging brand and company strengths through networking and lead generation. Continually analyzing market/territory trends to provide customer centric product and service solutions.

  • Retain and grow customer accounts by providing ongoing sales support to existing company clients. Seeking to understand the needs of the account and adapt and respond accordingly.
  • Collaborate to best serve opportunities. Working directly with sales coordination or project managers or by providing leads and references for large projects to contract department.
Responsibilities and Duties

Sales Representation
  • Provide showroom and territory representative of Pacific Restaurant Supply\xe2\x80\x99s products and services.
  • Product specification through product knowledge, company resources, seminars and hands-on learning.
  • Sales Quoting, Follow-Ups and negation skills to achieve profitable margins.
  • Owning the Sales Process to showcase the company\xe2\x80\x99s value proposition to new clients.
Business Development
  • Cold calling and prospecting to generate new business leads.
  • Seek and request referrals from existing clients or contacts.
  • Continuous Pipeline Management
  • Being a Brand Ambassador for Pacific Restaurant Supply
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities.
Account Management
  • Providing exceptional customer service and maintain customer relationships by addressing their needs in effective and timely manner.
  • Increase sales with existing accounts by following up
  • Collaborate directly with Sales Coordinator
Qualifications and Skills
  • 3 + Years of Business to Business Sales experience, with focus on outside sales, prospecting and business development. Passion for the food service industry is an asset!
