We're seeking a driven and organized
Sales BDC Manager
(internally referred to as
Sales Activity Manager
) to support our sales department, enhance lead management, and strengthen showroom performance.
Position Overview
The Sales Activity Manager plays a hands-on role in the sales department, bridging the gap between online and in-store operations. This position focuses on lead management, team accountability, customer follow-up, and overall sales activity -- while also assisting in desking and closing deals when required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor CRM activity to ensure clean, accurate records and timely follow-ups.
Review all internet leads daily, confirm appointments, and move customers efficiently through the sales funnel.
Act as the
first point of contact
for all showroom traffic, ensuring seamless client handoffs and real-time support for sales consultants.
Enforce daily sales activity expectations (calls, emails, follow-ups, showroom readiness) and hold team members accountable.
Lead or support
daily sales huddles
to align the team on goals, appointments, and key priorities.
Track all walk-ins and outcomes through a detailed daily desk log for accurate reporting.
Relaunch and oversee our
Service Drive sales efforts
, identifying upgrade opportunities within the service department.
Desk vehicle deals
and assist in closing transactions when sales managers are tied up.
Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to sales consultants on lead handling, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
Assist with coordinating
dealer trades and delivery logistics
to ensure efficient processes.
Maintain an accurate list of active sales opportunities for marketing and retargeting purposes.
Support in compiling
daily and weekly sales reports
for management review.
Qualifications
Valid OMVIC License
(required).
Minimum
2-3 years of automotive sales or BDC management experience
.
Strong understanding of CRM systems (DealerSocket, VinSolutions, or similar).
Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold sales teams accountable.
Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with desking and deal structuring considered an asset.
Professional, motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced dealership environment.
