Temporary Part Time assignment for up to Five (5) Months
The Sinai Shop is unique within the Canadian health care marketplace. Launched in August 2018, the Shop is a combination of an online and brick and mortar commercial business. Geared towards providing a selection of medically relevant products and other items to the Sinai community. Product lines include prenatal, maternal, infant clothing, geriatric and physiotherapy items, gifts and Sinai branded merchandise. Our Team is seeking an enthusiastic individual who is committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Sinai Shop is open Monday to Friday 10am-3pm (subject to change). As a Casual PT Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to support delivering sales plans through selling effectiveness.

In this role you will:
Greet, meet and engage with customers
Understand and knowledge of the features and benefits of all our products
Manage customer relationships and reinforcing customer buying decisions at checkout
Open and close the Shop
Replenish merchandise on the sales floor and to brand standards
Assist with monthly and annual inventory
Contribute ideas around marketing, communication, and merchandising strategies
Maintain shop cleanliness
Conduct cart visits on Mother and Baby units and solving any customer queries
Assist with sale "Pop-ups" on Main Floor
Abide by hospital policies and procedures
Promote loyalty by educating customers
Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Mandatory
Demonstrated success in driving sales and building customer loyalty
Experience with Google Analytics and AD words
Preferred
2 years of previous retail sales, e-commerce, marketing experience
Experience using POS through Shopify, an asset
Skills and Knowledge
Self-starter with a "can-do" attitude
Works well independently and with various teams
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Able to lift up to 40 pounds, as well as constant standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to accomplish multiple tasks in a very fast-paced environment
Flexible with scheduling and available to work within our retail hours and meet our needs
