Overview

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Japanese tableware store. This role involves creating a welcoming shopping experience, assisting customers in finding the perfect products, and keeping the store organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service by greeting shoppers and providing personalized assistance throughout their visit. Handle sales transactions efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in cash and card payments. Use suggestive selling techniques to elevate the customer experience and drive sales growth. Maintain store presentation by organizing shelves, restocking inventory, and creating attractive product displays. Perform basic math calculations for sales and inventory-related tasks. Contribute to a pleasant shopping atmosphere by keeping the store clean, tidy, and inviting.
Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or customer service preferred. Proficiency in spoken Japanese is a strong advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with both customers and coworkers. Solid basic math skills for handling payments accurately. A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when needed. Strong attention to detail and a good sense of visual presentation to uphold store standards.

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
