We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued to enhance our diverse customer interactions. The Sales Associate will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping environment while ensuring operational efficiency and product knowledge.

Responsibilities



Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers Engage in upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods Utilize phone etiquette skills when handling inquiries or follow-up calls Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment Support team members in achieving sales goals and maintaining store standards

Requirements



Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or customer service preferred Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for transactions Ability to demonstrate products effectively through product demos and technical explanations Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person Proven ability to upsell products and enhance customer experience through effective communication Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining independence when needed
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
