Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about merchandise, and offer expert recommendations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices. Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and monitoring stock availability to ensure product visibility. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support store operations by supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth daily functions. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Perform basic retail math for transactions, pricing adjustments, and inventory counts. Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and usage tips. Uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment by adhering to store policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping others is essential! Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering is highly desirable. Experience in merchandising, stocking, or grocery store operations will be advantageous. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a bonus for those interested in growth opportunities. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are vital for building positive relationships. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for retail transactions and inventory management. Bilingual abilities can enhance communication with a broader customer base.
