Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales mindset, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and assisting in creating a welcoming shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology or retail sales are highly valued. The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, including technical sales when applicable Assist with merchandising displays to enhance product visibility and appeal Operate POS systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities Maintain organized shelves and ensure the store environment is clean, inviting, and well-stocked Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts Utilize phone etiquette skills when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels Support team members in achieving store goals through collaboration and communication skills

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technology sales preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor Ability to demonstrate products effectively through demos or technical explanations Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or online Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales revenue Basic knowledge of retail operations including cash handling and POS systems
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
