This full-time position will report to the Manager of Local Sales in Calgary. This is a Group 2 position under the current collective agreement. You will be working with the Integrated Account Manager and clients to administer booked business and maintain revenue from initial buy to on-air presentation. If you have a passion for excellence and would like to help support our \xe2\x80\x9cWin Together\xe2\x80\x9d value, we encourage you to apply.You will contribute by:As a Sales Coordinator, the following is an outline of some but not all the primary functions and responsibilities for this position:

  • Support all aspects of fully integrated client campaigns.
  • Handle online proposals, bookings, and tracking. Generate post-analysis reports.
  • Maintain contracts and communicate with clients when adding, shifting, deleting, and converting inventory as well as dealing with open and closed pre-emptions.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Marketing/Promotions, Operations, Revenue Management, Inventory Management, etc.,) to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and correctly.
  • Assist the team to achieve and exceed annual, quarterly, and weekly sales targets.
  • Forward correct campaigns to new seasonal estimates.
Skills and experience you will bring:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with advertising agencies and television/radio station traffic departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to always maintain a professional approach.
  • Work well under pressure with attention to details.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office and PowerPoint being a prerequisite.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • Team player with a great attitude.
  • A client focused approach and a desire to learn.
  • Bring passion, a team attitude, and winning spirit to the sales organization.
  • Possess a passion for television and the competitive landscape.
