TalentSphere has partnered with a Canadian-based building materials manufacturer and distributor with operations across Western Canada. They are looking to grow their Calgary operations as demand has significantly increased.The Business Development / Sales Manager has an opportunity to expand the role and enjoy bonuses and incentives as the company continues to grow the business in southern Alberta.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior level management to develop and execute strategies for growth & expansion in Calgary region;
• Lead all Business Development and Marketing Initiatives to expand the territory;
• As the business grows, hire, manage and mentor a sales team;
• Inspire and foster a customer service driven culture to achieve high level customer satisfaction;
• Develop rapport and strengthen relationships with customers;
• Evaluate, and monitor sales activity and provide high-level leadership;
• Work with senior management to ensure orders, deadlines, and profitability are on target.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing, preferred
• Deep knowledge of building materials and building construction supply industries
• Minimum 10 years sales & business development experience along with growing and managing a team
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to mentor, coach and lead a team
• Strong analytical, time management, organizational and performance management skills
• MS Office and CRM intermediate level
