ColdAcre is a new start-up whose mission is to provide community-driven, reliable, fresh food in the North. Our farm, located in Whitehorse, Yukon, produces leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens throughout the year, providing over 800 lbs of fresh food a week for our community! Through our fresh produce subscription service, WinterHarvest, we bring fresh greens and a variety of local products to customers\' doorsteps. We are looking for a hard working, smart, and motivated sales and marketing associate to join our team. ColdAcre values work ethic, attitude, and problem solving abilities over work experience and will review every applicant on a case by case basis. This position would best suit someone who has a passion for local food, has creative marketing skills, and thrives on finding innovative ways to sell products.
Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of existing customers and work to build relationships with new customers while maintaining an exceptional level of customer service

• Actively acquire new clients through various methods including cold approach techniques like email, phone calls and walk-in sample delivery

• Research, design and order cost effective packaging solutions for new products

• Create marketing content, through social media and other channels, to boost produce and hydroponic unit sales

• Track data through detail-oriented record keeping and work to meet sales quotas and goals

• Lead initiatives that increase website traffic organically and gather insights about audience preferences to make decisions

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• A background in sales and marketing with 2+ years proven experience

• Post secondary training in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience

• Experience developing ecommerce websites or comparable portfolio

• Proficiency using G Suite, especially Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Calendar

• Experience managing social media accounts and creating content for small business

• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a clean driving record (required)

• An interest in local food production
