Position Overview
We're seeking an IT Account Manager to build and maintain strategic relationships with new and prospective clients while identifying new business opportunities. This is a pure sales role focused on cold and warm outreach, relationship building, business development, and revenue growth within existing accounts and net new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as primary point of contact for prospective accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with key decision makers
Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients
Proactively identify client needs and challenges to position appropriate IT solutions
Ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction across all touchpoints
Business Development
Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within prospective accounts
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned portfolio
Sales Consultation
Understand client business needs and position appropriate IT solutions
Work with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client requirements
Present business cases and value propositions to C-level executives and IT decision makers
Negotiate contracts and close deals within assigned accounts
Required Qualifications
College or university graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
Basic understanding of IT solutions and services to facilitate business conversations
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Experience with CRM systems and sales methodologies
Strong analytical and business development capabilities
