Title: Safety, Security & Facilities Manager

Function: Logistics

Department: Logistics

Reports to: DC Manager

Direct Reports: Facilities Techs, MHE Techs

Overall Job Function: To ensure adherence to global policies, standards and local legislation in order to maintain safety, security and information security standards within the DC.

Job Responsibility including but not limited to:

Perform risk analysis & risk management within the DC and take corrective measures to ensure people safety

Ensure DC is compliant with global policies, standards and local legislation including security requirements & Code of Ethics program

Maintain & keep current site in the best condition

Implement & follow up on safety, security and information security standards within DC (at own, 3PL-sites & Split points)

Ensure the implementation of goals and action plans

Raise Health and Safety awareness within DC

Detect any potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks

Follow up on shrinkage results and loss prevention strategies

Ensure coordination of annual stock take and related routines according to garment flow

Drive and educate DC team in all relevant security areas

Support people & business growth and development by ensuring that Security strategy is followed within the DC

Initiate sustainable processes and challenge the current set-up from a sustainable perspective

Minimum Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years logistics or store operations experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of Safety and/or Security Management experience
Competencies:

Profound expertise in safety, security and DC operational processes, also cross-functionally

Solid understanding of global policies, standards and local legislation, including security requirements and Code of Ethics program

Proactivity in identifying and solving potential risk areas with regards to health and safety as well as overall compliance

Solid analytics and problem-solving skills

Strong communication & coordination skills

Holistic view for the bigger perspective with a visionary approach

Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others

Agile mindset, positive attitude to change & meaningful growth

Inclusive and empathetic towards others, encouraging diversity
