We are currently hiring for a full-time Student Interns for a 4-month term this Summer (May - August) 2023.

Our Internships are designed to be meaningful work experiences allowing students to gain significant skills, learn and grow in their field of their interest. As a part of CMHC, you will provide assistance in reporting requirements, data-driven insights development and analysis by collecting, reviewing and analysing data. Using appropriate tools you will perform data mining in support of team initiatives and business needs to supports a range of activities related to reports preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with and provide data and preliminary analysis support to peers.
  • Ensure data is accurate and valid by conducting quality checks and being attentive to detail.
  • Collect and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats.
  • Use data management systems to access specific information for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
  • Provide analysis support in the creation of reports for presenting information in a way that is clear and easily understood by stakeholders.
  • Assist with the research and analysis on industry standards, best practices and changes to guidelines and regulations that impact the provision of CMHC products, programs and/or services.
  • Prepare documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
  • Contribute to internal development of data insights, data collection and reporting preparation.
  • Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats.
  • Escalate potential recommendations based on report and data findings.
  • Extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a University degree in a related discipline such as finance, accounting or business administration.
  • Previous experience in finance and reporting and analysis
  • Experience can be acquired through the studies, work experience or volunteer activities.
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Good judgment, excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is considered an asset
