LOGISTICS COORDINATOR



We are currently seeking a highly self-motivated, and detail-focused Logistics Coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will manage shipment and delivery procedures while ensuring that products are in good condition. Your daily activities include liaising with delivery providers for effective deliveries, replying to customer inquiries, assessing purchase orders, preparing payment invoices, and preparing the shipment budget. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with determination of shipping requirements to facilitate company shipments to worldwide destinations.
  • Assist with the planning and co-ordination of the transportation of product/materials to specified time lines.
  • Determination of special requirements to facilitate shipments to worldwide destinations.
  • Preparation and execution of Domestic and International Shipment documentation.
  • Be familiar with Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air and by Ocean requirements.
  • Maintenance of HS Tarriff Classifications for RST Products.
  • Maintenance of System Data Requirements and ensuring the integrity of the information.\'
  • Proactive communication, and track material movements inbound & outbound and report status to all stakeholders.
  • Provide Support to Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics.
  • Ensure cost competitiveness of transportation options.
  • Assist with special projects and other ad-hoc duties as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS



  • High school diploma/GED required, bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • ASCM/APICS CLTD, International Trade and Transportation Logistics are preferred.
  • You will have excellent organization, scheduling and time management skills
  • You excel with analyzing information and dealing with complexity
  • You are deadline-oriented and have strong attention to detail
  • Data entry skills, MS Office Suite, ERP Knowledge Epicor,
  • Familiarity with HS Tariff Classifications, Import and Export Requirements, DG Transportation
  • Good math abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
