Founded in 1991 as a two-person beer distributorship in Manitoba, WETT Sales & Distribution has flourished into a leading full-service beverage alcohol provider in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Purpose of Role:



Reporting to the President, the

Route-to-Market & Key Accounts Manager

plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success within the beverage alcohol industry. The Route-to-Market & Key Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic go-to-market plans while managing key customer relationships across on-premise and off-premise channels across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This role ensures optimal distribution, pricing, and promotional execution in alignment with brand and commercial objectives. A critical component of this role is working closely with key supplier partners to align on strategy, execution, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:



Route-to-Market Strategy



Design and implement RTM strategies tailored to provincial regulations and market dynamics. Optimize distributor and retail partner relationships to ensure efficient product flow and market coverage. Collaborate with logistics, finance, and marketing to align RTM execution with business goals. Partner with suppliers to align on distribution strategy, pricing, and promotional execution.

Key Account Management



Serve as the primary contact for regional key accounts (e.g., liquor boards, major retail chains, on-premise groups). Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP), promotional planning, and quarterly business reviews. Negotiate pricing, promotional support, and distribution targets. Act as a liaison between key accounts and supplier partners to ensure alignment on commercial priorities.

Sales Execution & Enablement



Support field sales teams with tools, training, and insights to drive execution excellence. Monitor and analyze sales performance, promotional ROI, and distribution KPIs. Ensure compliance with provincial alcohol regulations and internal pricing policies.

Supplier Collaboration



Build and maintain strong relationships with supplier partners to align on commercial strategy and execution. Participate in supplier planning meetings, performance reviews, and innovation launches. Share market insights and performance data to support supplier decision-making and investment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Work closely with Trade Marketing, Category Management, and Brand Teams to develop and execute customer-specific programs. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

Working hours/Schedule:



Five days per week, 40 hours a week. Some weekend and evening work may be required.

Education:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:



Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in sales, commercial strategy, or RTM within the beverage alcohol or CPG industry. Proven track record managing key accounts and building long-term customer and supplier relationships. Experience working with Canadian liquor boards and understanding of provincial regulatory environments.

Skills:
