Job Title: Route Accounting Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: $20.00-$23.00/hour
Work Model: Hybrid
Accountivity is currently hiring a Route Accounting Analyst to support a fast-paced organization in Toronto on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent analytical and data entry skills, and advanced Excel proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial reconciliations, including credits and debits
- Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and investigate issues
- Complete accurate, high-volume analytical data entry
- Request, review, and validate invoices, proof of delivery, and supporting documentation
- Work closely with Independent Operators, Accounting, and other internal departments
- Manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Post-secondary education required (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Solid understanding of GL reconciliations, credits, and debits
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a proactive, go-getter mindset
