Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and carpentry, with the ability to work effectively with hand tools and perform heavy lifting. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to understand roofing systems, ensuring that all roofing projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles, TPO, SBS. Assess roof conditions and determine necessary repairs or replacements. Use company software and work with inside sales to create and present estimates to clients. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during roofing projects. Perform caulking and sealing to ensure waterproofing of roofs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field is preferred. Familiarity with carpentry techniques and practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during roofing tasks. Experience with blueprint reading is essential for successful project execution. Previous maintenance person experience will be considered a plus for this role. Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Sloped Roofing: 5 years (required)
