Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and possess a strong understanding of building materials and techniques. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, and PVC membranes. Repair and replace damaged roofing materials to ensure the integrity of the roof. Perform inspections to identify potential issues or areas needing maintenance. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during roofing projects. Apply caulking and sealants as necessary to prevent leaks and ensure waterproofing. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on job sites.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a related construction role. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications for roofing projects. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 85 pounds) regularly. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety practices. Must have own transportation to Bobcaygeon
