Job Summary
The Roof Helper assists roofing professionals with installation, maintenance, and cleaning tasks. A key part of this role involves using vacuum systems to remove debris, leaves, and buildup from roofs and gutters, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support roofers by transporting tools, materials, and safety equipment
+ Set up ladders, scaffolding, and fall protection systems
+ Operate roof vacuum systems to clean debris from roof surfaces and gutters
+ Remove old roofing materials and assist with site cleanup
+ Maintain vacuum equipment and ensure proper functioning
+ Dispose of collected debris in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines
+ Assist with minor repairs and surface preparation under supervision
+ Follow all safety protocols while working at heights and around machinery
Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions
+ Experience using vacuum systems or willingness to learn
+ Basic knowledge of roofing tools and cleaning techniques
+ Strong physical stamina and attention to detail
+ Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
