Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roller Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rolling asphalt. This role requires a strong understanding of asphalt paving and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Operate roller machinery to compact asphalt and effectively.
- Assist in the preparation of the base for asphalt.
- Collaborate with crew members to ensure quality control during the paving process.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment on job sites.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Skills
- 3 years of rolling experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
- Ability to pave surfaces accurately while adhering to project specifications.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
