Haztech is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team for travel nursing opportunities across Alberta. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

The position of travel nurse with Haztech offers the opportunity to work on contracts of varying lengths, ranging from a few days to 3-6 months. Haztech offers competitive wages as well as provides travel, meal allowance, and accommodations for the duration of each contract.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate medication records
• Monitor and record vital signs and other health parameters
• Assist with resident mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Provide education and support to residents and their families
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident health records

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

• Current RN license in Ontario
• Bachelor\'s degree in nursing from an accredited institution
• 1+ years of experience as an RN
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
