This individual will play a supporting role in assisting with reporting, monitoring and forecasting the bank’s IFRS 9 ECL. The role will also help manage the ongoing production, modification, enhancement, and monitoring of IFRS 9 credit risk analytics and reporting, while ensuring all activities are in compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
What You'll Do:

  • Provide support in preparing IFRS 9 results to senior management and relevant business units
  • Utilize SAS to extract, manipulate and analyze raw data in order to provide value-added and timely analysis to assist in optimizing risk mitigation objectives;
  • Build and enhance processes to facilitate analyses of model outputs and regular reporting results
  • Execute standard and ad-hoc reporting and summarized presentations as needed for regularly scheduled update forums;
  • Develop and execute regular queries from the data warehouse for use in reports;
  • Liaise with stakeholders (internal and external) to obtain requirements and/or support for risk sponsored initiatives

What You Bring:
  • Programming experience with SAS/SQL and statistical knowledge are assets
  • Post-Secondary Degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Ops Research);
  • Ability to communicate analytic recommendations to both technical and non-technical team members, either verbally or via documentation.;
  • Strong project management and communication skills;
  • Proven analytical and conceptual thinker who can adapt to a rapidly changing environment;
  • Demonstrated ability in working within team and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to understand issues and solve problems; and
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative, work independently in a dynamic environment, and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
