Mobilizing 30+ years of learning, experience and engagement through CJI's Revive Program, the successful candidate will primarily oversee a variety of groups for male-identified and non-binary survivors of sexual harm.

What Will You Do?
Oversee the Male Survivor groupwork component of Revive, including
Participant recruitment
Participant intakes
Provide one on one support, as needed
Train and supervise community volunteers as group facilitators
Conduct Volunteer Annual Reviews
Lead Peer Support meetings
Facilitate groups, as required
Plan and facilitate monthly webinars about restorative justice options for survivors of sexual harm
Track and report on program activities
Provide administrative support to the program
Support CJI with projects and committees, as appropriate
Who Are We Looking For?
A strong understanding of Restorative Justice philosophy and principles
A strong understanding of trauma informed responses to the needs that arise from sexual harm, in particular, for survivors who are male identified
A strong understanding of, commitment to, and practices around anti-racism, anti-oppression, and trauma-responsive care
Group facilitation experience for vulnerable groups
Post-secondary studies in Restorative Justice, Gender Studies, Social Services, Peace and Conflict Studies, or equivalent experience
Familiarity with culturally competent care/culturally sensitive needs
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to run groups and meetings on online platforms
Demonstrated relationality and value for relationships
Excellent organizational skills
Experience working collaboratively in Waterloo Region
Comfort, confidence and experience in facilitation and public speaking
Ability to work independently and in teams
Ability to work with feedback
A Police Records Check or up-to-date Offence Declaration will be required

This is a full-time, 24-month contract covering 15-20 hours per week (negotiable)
Hourly wage: $22.32/hour
Note: Revive works with all people impacted by sexual harm. Activities related to this project could include working with people who have caused sexual harm.
