, combining hands-on retail management with
e-commerce, digital marketing, paid media, and team leadership

The ideal candidate will ensure an exceptional in-store experience while driving growth online through
Shopify management, paid media campaigns, social content, email marketing, video editing, and landing page creation for tastings and special events
.
In addition, this role includes
team management responsibilities
such as employee scheduling and supporting the screening and onboarding of new hires.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations & Team Leadership
Oversee day-to-day retail store operations.
Ensure merchandising and displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
Deliver a top-tier customer experience that builds loyalty and repeat visits.
Create and manage
employee schedules
to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.
Participate in
screening and onboarding new hires
to support team growth and culture.
Online Store & E-Commerce
Manage and update the
Shopify store
(products, promotions, descriptions, and imagery).
Create
dedicated landing pages for tastings, events, and special promotions
to drive sign-ups and engagement.
Optimize product listings for both sales conversion and SEO visibility.
Maintain consistency between in-store and online brand experience.
Marketing & Paid Media
Lead all digital marketing efforts, with a focus on
Facebook marketing
and
paid media management
(Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
Develop and execute
email marketing campaigns
(Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar).
Create engaging content (copy, graphics, and
video editing
) for social and digital campaigns.
Monitor performance metrics, optimize for results, and report on ROI.
Collaboration & Reporting
Provide regular reporting on retail sales, online performance, and marketing campaigns.
Suggest inventory insights and customer demand trends.
Collaborate with ownership on special events, tastings, and promotional strategies.
Qualifications
Candidates with direct experience are preferred, but we are open to those who are eager to learn and grow into the role. Ideally, you bring:
Experience in
retail, marketing, or e-commerce management
(store management experience an asset).
Background in
employee scheduling
and/or exposure to
hiring/screening processes
.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn
paid media management
(Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
Familiarity with or willingness to learn
Shopify store management
, including
landing page creation
.
Knowledge of
Facebook marketing
and campaign execution.
Proficiency or willingness to learn
email marketing platforms
(Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or equivalent).
Basic skills or interest in
video editing
and digital content creation.
An interest in wine, spirits, and the hospitality industry
to better connect with products, tastings, and events.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Schedule
Primarily
Monday-Friday
, with flexibility for:
Occasional evenings
to support events or tastings.
Occasional Saturdays
for key promotions and special events.
This is a
salaried role
with flexibility based on business needs.
What We Offer

$60,000 - $80,000 annually
