Job Description

Starkey Canada is seeking a one-year temporary employee to fulfill our Retail Marketing Account Representative Role. The Retail Marketing Account Representative is responsible for assisting, developing, and executing marketing initiatives for Starkey's retail clients. This involves daily contact with customers by phone, e-mail, virtual meetings and occasional in-person visits, to determine their marketing needs and develop the appropriate strategy to accomplish the customer's objectives. The Retail Marketing Account Representative will work with customers to develop traditional and digital marketing plans and calendars, assist in creative production of marketing materials, and implement marketing campaigns.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the marketing efforts for assigned clients with great attention to detail and focus on client and internal goals

Proactively work with accounts to develop and implement marketing strategies across different marketing mediums

Communicate new marketing programs and materials to clients as developed. + Drive consistent evolution in clients' digital marketing efforts.
+ Participate in client meetings and training courses.
+ Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
+ Work with internal team members to ensure new projects are completed on time and within budget.
Work with preferred vendors and programs for creative production, demographic reports, campaign tracking, translations, and print needs.

Maintain a working partnership with sales staff to determine priority clients for marketing support. + Manage and delegate tasks to update internal and external documents, ensuring that tasks are completed on time.
+ Determine translation needs as required and whether the material can be translated internally or should be sent to a translation company.
Liaison with HQ representatives to manage all marketing collateral made available to the Canadian market + Coordinating all launch kit assembly and distribution for French and English customers.
+ Managing all Marketing Collateral translations for the Quebec market and ensuring the materials are printed, stocked, & available to order.
+ Creating/facilitating ad hoc retail marketing collateral for the Canadian market
+ Includes letter, mailer, newspaper ad, & social media templates
+ Includes creating marketing campaigns with specific targeting and objectives and one page sell sheets with recommended marketing tactics & approx. budgets.
+ Other responsibilities as required

Results

Clients satisfaction and feedback Number of clients assigned that have an active marketing calendar. Key Performance Indicators on campaigns that remain at or better industry average. Attendance record and participation level at meetings and training classes. Percentage of jobs completed on time and within budget. Knowledge of department tools and programs. Department and internal staff satisfaction and feedback.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required; marketing degree preferred Experience

2-3 years of marketing or comparable business experience in a corporate marketing or agency environment; Account management and experience with building customer relationships.

Knowledge and Technical Requirements

Microsoft Office suite of programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, et c. Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Knowledge of creative production process. Familiarity with media planning and various marketing tactics. Digital marketing and social media experience is required. Ability to analyze data and develop key insights.
