Job Description


The Retail Business Manager is a key client service position responsible for all aspects of day-to-day client management & business growth. This hybrid role engages directly with clients to understand their goals & challenges in order to develop Retail programs & services that deliver results.

The core responsibilities of the Retail Business Manager are:

  • Driving revenue growth
  • Margin delivery
  • Client satisfaction & retention
Day to day, the Retail Business Manager:
  • Drives growth with existing clients & fosters new business opportunities within portfolio of assigned clients.
  • Identifies & drives key initiatives that deliver mutually beneficial results for Acosta & clients.
  • Partners with the Syndicated Retail sales team & Internal Operations leaders to develop action-oriented Retail strategies that deliver results.
  • Outlines data reporting requirements, analyzes business results, & reports key insights to shape future strategy.
  • Manages communication between clients & Retail teams.
  • Monitors & communicates with key stakeholders any new product introductions, programming changes, training initiatives, & special needs from the client to the field team.
  • Responds to & resolves issues in a timely manner, balancing customer satisfaction, quality, and relevance.
  • Seeks out & shares best practices.
  • Supports new business development & other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of account management or operation/management experience in a broker environment OR any similar combination of education & experience.
  • Excellent relationship building skills; proven success in relationship building and management.
Initiative-taker, with outstanding organizational skills, and strong abilities to multitask & prioritize. * Experience developing, tracking, and monitoring cross-functional processes (Requiring a proficiency in Excel).
  • Experience in anticipating client needs & developing solutions.
  • Experience in Grocery or Walmart preferred.
  • Bilingual in English & French preferred.
