We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service.
Manage and train staff in various roles including cooking, serving, and food handling.
Oversee inventory management and cash handling processes, including the use of Micros POS systems.
Conduct interviews and hire new team members while fostering a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve overall service quality.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Monitor financial performance and assist in achieving sales targets through effective team management.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Strong customer service orientation with a passion for hospitality.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Previous experience in supervising staff, conducting interviews, and training new employees is essential.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and barista experience is a plus.
A background in hotel management or related fields is advantageous but not required.
