Dopamina Restaurant is an exciting new fine dining venue located in the heart of downtown Toronto, committed to delivering an exceptional upscale experience through our innovative Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influences. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Floor Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating with the BOH, ensuring efficient restaurant operations, and driving sales performance.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Monitor and assist in FOH operation, beverage preparation and making including alcohols, mocktails, coffee and all other menu items.
Be familiar with all menus and restaurant handbook.
Present wines in a professional manner.
Table setting and busing tables.
Be responsible for all restaurant floor issues with guests and staffs.
Manage FOH staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
Oversee daily sales and report to the owner.
Handle inventory and budget of the FOH including bar area.
Work with bartenders with wine and beverage menu.
Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Utilize POS systems for transactions, inventory management, and reporting.
Conduct regular inventory audits and manage purchasing decisions to optimize stock levels.
Foster a positive work environment through effective communication with the chefs and management team with the owner.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Proven 5+ years experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role.
Proficiency in restaurant sales management, customer service, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with bookkeeping, time management, and administrative tasks.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
