Job Summary:

The

Restaurant Supervisor

plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience in line with DoubleTree by Hilton standards. This position involves supervising the restaurant staff, maintaining service excellence, and contributing to a positive and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including breakfast, lunch & dinner. Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service is delivered to all guests. Support training, coaching, and performance management of restaurant team members. Assist in scheduling, payroll input, and inventory management. Handle guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with Hilton brand requirements and local regulations. Collaborate with the culinary and banquet teams to ensure smooth communication and service execution. Monitor and manage inventory, supply ordering, and cost controls. Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Assist with implementation of promotions, seasonal offerings, and special events.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality environment. Experience in a hotel restaurant setting is strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills. Smart Serve certified (Ontario). Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
