Responsibilities
Oversee and perform daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including interviewing and training new team members
Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
Lead team management efforts to motivate staff, monitor performance, and promote teamwork
Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate food industry best practices to optimize kitchen efficiency and quality control
Oversee food presentation, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations to ensure consistency and quality
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and reporting
Foster a welcoming hospitality environment that encourages guest loyalty and positive reviews
Experience
Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food service operations
Knowledge and experience of kitchen processes including food preparation, cooking, and food handling
Experience with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Background in customer service within the food industry or hospitality sector
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Prior experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not required
Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
