Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service Manage staff including hiring, training, and supervising team members Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service quality Monitor inventory levels and assist with food preparation as needed Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Skills

Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS Proven experience in supervising staff within a restaurant or hospitality setting Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment Experience in interviewing candidates for various restaurant positions Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members Previous experience in restaurant management or related roles is highly desirable Familiarity with barista duties or hotel operations is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: $35.00-$36.10 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
