Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with expertise in customer service, food serving and staff handling. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service Manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items and improve food offerings Conduct interviews for new hires and provide ongoing training for team members Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain stock Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and best practices in the kitchen Experience with POS systems, preferably Micros POS Background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or hospitality is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in supervising staff is essential; hotel or barista experience is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
