Famoso Pizzeria + Bar is a vibrant full service restaurant located in the heart of Uptown Waterloo.We are currently looking to add a resourceful Service and Hospitality Leader who will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operation while maintaining high productivity, product quality, and customer-service standards. This position offers a great opportunity to develop managerial and leadership skills in an environment that is fast paced, social and fun.Responsibilities:

• High revenue shift management
• Deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• Ensure the best quality of products possible
• Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example
• Appraise employee performance and provide feedback
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions
• Respond efficiently to customer comments and concerns
• Promote, market and publicize the brand
• Complete administrative tasks such as scheduling, training paths and daily reporting
• Monitor compliance with sanitation, safety and regulations
• Control costs and minimize waste

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a restaurant manager, leader, or supervisor
• Experienced with customer service
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Food, beer, wine and cocktail knowledge is preferred
• Proficiency in English
• Computer literacy

Experience:

• Restaurant management: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Safety Certification (preferred)
• Smart Serve (preferred)
