Job Summary
Are you a dedicated and experienced leader in the food industry with a passion for hospitality? White Spot at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre is looking for a Restaurant Service Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
In this role, you will lead a dynamic team, maintain service excellence, and uphold quality standards while driving efficiency and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will be key in fostering a positive and productive work environment, ensuring seamless operations, and exceeding guest expectations.
What You'll Do:
? Lead & Inspire: Recruit, train, and motivate team members to uphold service excellence.
? Deliver Guest Satisfaction: Be a visible leader on the floor, ensuring every guest leaves happy.
? Drive Operational Excellence: Manage service standards, cleanliness, and efficiency.
? Boost Revenue & Sales: Support financial targets, improve cheque averages, and manage costs.
? Team Collaboration: Foster open communication between front and back-of-house teams.
? Monitor & Improve Performance: Analyze guest feedback and adjust service strategies as needed.
? Payroll & Timecards: Ensure accurate processing for front-of-house team members.
What You Bring:
• 2+ years of management/leadership experience in the food and beverage industry.
• A guest-first mindset with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Strong team-building and communication skills to create a positive work environment.
• Business acumen with experience in managing costs and achieving financial goals .
• Knowledge of restaurant safety, food standards, and health regulations .
• Hotel experience is an asset but not required.
