Down East Hospitality Inc. is a multi-unit restaurant franchise that owns and operates 9 Tim Hortons Restaurants across HRM. We are looking for someone who has at least 3-5 years of Tim Hortons experience at an Assistant Manager or Manager level and has knowledge of the quick service industry, taking pride in supporting the General Manager and Owner in the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced business.
What you'll do
-Responsible for supporting restaurants with daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and implement procedures to optimize efficiency
-Work with Restaurant Managers to prepare for quarterly REV audits, ensuring Restaurants are remaining compliant and following the standards to achieve exceptional scores
-Focus on our Global Performance Standards (GPS) for each restaurant, assist them with excelling in all categories
-Ensuring food quality, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
-Training and motivating staff and supporting the Restaurant Managers with coaching
-Monitoring and improving customer experience, addressing complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
-Working and supporting our team to achieve their speed of service goals. Motivating and implementing practices to obtain the targets
-Assist with calling support and troubleshooting when technical issues arise
-Assist with other operational tasks as needed (transferring product between restaurants, dropping deposits off at bank, etc.)

-Ability to work in high pressure environments, while still maintaining a high level or accuracy
-Ability to communicate effectively to multiple people, in varying age groups and ability levels, both in verbal and written communication methods
-A post-secondary education in the Business Management field is an asset, but not required

Salary to be determined based on skills and experience. Plus a competitive bonus program based on performance.
Schedule:
We are looking for someone who is available Monday-Sunday 6am-6pm, although you will not be scheduled those exact hours, we need someone who would be available to work within those hours. You would work 5 days a week, 8 or 9 hour shifts.
