About us Vij\'s Restaurant is a small business in Vancouver, BC V5Z 2W2. We are professional, fast-paced, challenging, and our goal is to provide best Indian food with traditional spices and cooking techniques, while using all local ingredients available. Our work environment includes:

- Perform and oversee those functions delegated by the CFO/COO.
- Be able to communicate and coordinate with other departments, such as the executive chef, food and beverage manager, and owners.
- Monitor the dining room, bar, and lounge to make sure that all staff are performing at company standard at all times.
- Make sure servers have all the toold they need to perform their jobs.
- Have wine knowledge and contribute in wine program with bar manager.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee all reservations and work with reservation manager.
- Make and/or be involved in creating employee work schedule.
- Be involved with event planning for our private dining rooms.
- Work with accounting department on weekly, monthly and annual reporting. Support and assist all required work, such as; inventorty management, ordering, pety cash management etc.
