We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for each guest's visit, making them feel valued and appreciated.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations. Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally. Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members clearly. Experience in guest services within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing orders efficiently. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor that contributes to a positive atmosphere in the restaurant or hotel setting.
