Welcome to HALO Bistro|Bar--the freshest hotspot for chic dining in Edmonton! HALO serves up both traditional and locally inspired dishes, making it a culinary adventure like no other. As a Restaurant Host, you'll be the maestro of our 100-seat bar and 100-seat restaurant, ensuring each guest is treated to an unforgettable experience.

Some of your duties will include:

Greet and seat guests with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring a speedy and delightful experience, following Renaissance hotels standards. Set the stage for top-notch hospitality that continues throughout every meal. Assign stations and supervise seating arrangements to ensure fair distribution among servers and maintain smooth guest flow while keeping track of guest names for volume per hour. Keep the restaurant entrance welcoming and pristine, ensuring a spotless first impression. Check in with guests to gather feedback and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring a flawless experience. Ensure table spotlessness, by removing spots on tables, silverware, glassware, and the carpet as well as ensuring all chairs are free from crumbs. Showcase your expertise by guiding guests through our menu, wine selections, city, and hotel services knowledge with flair, to assist in giving helpful suggestions. Assist servers with service, breaks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure all tasks and checklists are completed to perfection. Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries and manage reservations.
