We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our exciting Church's Texas Chicken restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills. This role requires a passion for hospitality, a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team all while delivering on the key metrics outlined by the company. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, from food preparation to customer satisfaction.

Duties



Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to foster a positive work environment. Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for efficient cash handling and order processing. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality. Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Conduct regular inspections of food handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff members.

Experience



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Experience with supervising teams, including training new employees in hospitality best practices. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in barista roles or hotel settings is a plus. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
