Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing orders and payments efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.

Skills

Strong background in food preparation and handling within a restaurant or food industry setting. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, with basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
